Waterproofing & Moisture Mitigation

Why should we use waterproofing or moisture mitigation products?

Waterproofing provides protection for the structure of a room or building and is most often used in wet environments such as bathrooms, showers, and kitchens. A waterproofing membrane prevents water and moisture vapor from seeping through the surface, avoids the growth of mold and mildew and prevents the deterioration of the structure itself.

Moisture mitigation aims to limit or eliminate the movement of water vapor into the flooring system. This protective layer prevents the degradation of self-leveling or patching, moldy carpets, buckling wood floors, or detaching vinyl floor tiles.
